A conversation with room for the person.

Happiness can feel like another demand when people are already carrying too much. Suresh invites audiences to look beyond the pressure to appear positive and examine what helps them live and work with clarity, connection and a sense of meaning.

For a wellbeing conference, employee gathering or leadership offsite, the question is not simply how to motivate the room. It is how to make space for the human experience beneath performance: the relationships, choices and expectations that shape a day. This conversation connects personal reflection with the way people treat one another at work.

Who this is for

  • HR and people teams planning a workplace wellbeing event
  • Leaders and teams navigating sustained pressure or change
  • Professional communities exploring happiness beyond achievement

Talks to explore

Slow Down to Speed Up

Explore attention, rest and deliberate choices when constant urgency starts to narrow judgment. Participants reflect on one commitment they can simplify and one conversation they need to have.

When Success Isn't Enough

Examine identity beyond titles and the difference between achievement and fulfilment. This conversation draws on the questions behind The Divine Therapist.

The Meaningful Workplace

Consider how daily leadership behaviour affects trust, belonging and the experience of work. Move from abstract values to choices that colleagues can recognise.

What participants can reflect on

  • Recognise a personal definition of wellbeing beyond external success.
  • Identify a small change that protects attention or strengthens a relationship.
  • Ask what workplace expectations deserve an honest conversation.

These are intended learning prompts, rather than guaranteed organisational results.

Try one reflection

Think of a recent day that felt meaningful. What made it so: an achievement, a moment of connection, an act of service or time to be fully present? Use that answer to choose one small change for the coming week.

Questions event teams ask

Is this a motivational talk or a wellbeing workshop?

Either format can be discussed. A keynote introduces a central idea through stories and reflection; a workshop provides more room for individual writing and voluntary conversation. Scope and length are agreed with the organiser.

Does the session promise to eliminate burnout?

No. These are educational conversations about wellbeing, attention and human connection. They do not diagnose, treat or promise to resolve mental health conditions, and they do not replace changes to working conditions or professional care.

Can the talk suit a mixed international audience?

The briefing covers the audience, language, cultural context and event objectives. Examples and reflection prompts can then be chosen thoughtfully, with no requirement for personal disclosure.

What conversation does your audience need?

Share the date, location, audience, event purpose, preferred format and budget range. The office will discuss fit and availability, then shape the brief with you.
