How the shortlist was selected

  • Published speaking topics that give planners something specific to compare.
  • An official speaker site or identifiable market profile that readers can check.
  • A range of approaches to leadership, motivation and wellbeing, rather than one interchangeable topic.

Planning a keynote for a Singapore or APAC audience

Clarify whether the programme is for a Singapore team, a regional APAC leadership group or a global conference hosted in Singapore. Market mix, seniority and shared language affect the examples that will resonate. Give the speaker context about your business and the event's place in the wider programme, then ask how the message will be adapted.

Regional relevance

Share the countries, functions and management levels represented. Ask for examples that work across those contexts rather than treating APAC as one audience.

Session design

Decide whether you need a plenary keynote, a moderated conversation or a workshop. Leave time for the interaction your audience actually needs.

Hybrid production

Confirm microphones, camera coverage, remote questions and recording permissions. Include your production team's contact in the final brief.

Plan your event in Singapore.

Build the keynote around the audience, then choose a venue and accommodation cluster. These options cover Marina Bay, Bugis and Beach Road. This is a practical editorial shortlist, not a hotel or restaurant ranking, paid placement or a claim of personal inspection.

Conference venues to consider

Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre

Marina Bay

Explore dedicated spaces for a conference or convention. Request a room layout and a separate AV, staging, rehearsal and breakout specification.

Transfers, access and the final venue brief

  • Choose the Marina Bay, Bugis or Beach Road cluster around the event rather than selecting a hotel on star category alone. Confirm the walking route or transport plan for guests with mobility needs.
  • Send delegates the full venue address, arrival terminal, hotel check-in arrangements and a local organiser's contact. Allow time for immigration and the first rehearsal.
  • Confirm seated capacity for your layout, AV and recording permissions, accessibility and dietary requirements. Do not assume a restaurant is halal-certified because it serves some halal-sourced ingredients.

Passports, visas and arrival forms.

How to book a speaker in Singapore

Choose two or three candidates whose subjects fit your outcome. Watch recent footage, check the official contact route and send the same brief to each. Compare the proposed session and total scope before agreeing to a contract.

What affects speaker fees?

Request a written quote in SGD or an agreed currency. Compare preparation, session duration, Q&A, workshops, travel, accommodation, taxes and recording or distribution permissions. Specify whether the speaker is expected in person or virtually, and ask about the cancellation and rescheduling policy. Current fees and availability should be confirmed directly with each speaker.

  • Audience size, industries, seniority, languages and countries represented.

  • Available time, Q&A, workshop needs and any follow-up material.
  • Budget, preparation call, travel, AV, recording rights and cancellation terms.

Questions event planners ask

Who is the best keynote speaker in Singapore for our event?

The answer depends on your audience and outcome. This shortlist covers communication, innovation, executive wellbeing, resilience, positive psychology and conscious leadership. Review the official profiles and recent speaking footage before selecting.

How much does a keynote speaker in Singapore cost?

Fees vary with speaker, format, preparation, travel and rights. Request an itemized written quote for your actual event rather than relying on a general online estimate.

Should we choose a keynote or a leadership workshop?

A keynote can establish an idea for a large audience. A workshop offers more time to discuss, practise and apply it. Choose the format around the change you want and the time available.
